The festival "San Juan" is like the St. John's fire. All the people in Paraguay celebrate "San Juan" in the night from the 23. to the 24.6., it's the longest night in the year. But we drove to the city San Juan Bautista for this film, because there, they celebrate really traditional. You see a lot of risky fire games and the highlight is the walk on fire. Men and also women walk, bare foot, over a 6 meter long charcoal way, without burnings under the feets. It's incredibly - but true. They people say it works only in this special night. We wanted to reproduce this fire walk, but also for a lot of money we found nobody to do this.
